Jenny is a recurring character in the second season of HBO Max's The Flight Attendant. She is portrayed by Jessie Ennis.

Jenny attends the same Alcoholics Anonymous group in Los Angeles as Cassandra "Cassie" Bowden. She claims to host a podcast about ordinary people who find themselves in unusual, true-crime situations and be interested in Cassie's story regarding the saga of Alex Sokolov. Jenny, however, is hiding a dark secret and Cassie finds it strange that Jenny seems to keep showing up wherever she is, almost as if she's stalking her.

Throughout the Series[]

"Seeing Double"[]

Jenny is present at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in which Cassie Bowden tells her story of having been sober for nearly a year and how she's put her life back together, gotten a new side-job and even met a great new guy. After the sharing portion of the meeting is over, she goes up to Cassie, telling her that her story really inspired her. In return, Cassie's sponsor, Brenda, asks her if she's ready to be a mentor.

"Mushrooms, Tasers, and Bears, Oh My!"[]

Jenny is again present during another Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in which Cassie receives a chip for one year of sobriety. After the meeting, she comes up and introduces herself to Cassie's brother, Davey. She congratulates Cassie and invites Davey to dinner. During the meal, Jenny reveals to Davey that she hosts a true-crime podcast about ordinary people who find themselves in deadly situations. She says that she thinks he'd be the perfect guest for the program, referencing Cassie's situation with Alex Sokolov and wanting his perspective on it. Davey, however, is disgusted, feeling that she only invited him to try to get gossip on Cassie. He starts to leave, but Jenny apologizes, saying that it isn't like that. She tells him that he was fun at the meeting and that while things must have been hard for Cassie, she can't imagine what it was like for him. He apologizes for overreacting, saying that he's been going through some stuff with his husband Rick and she tells him that she's there if he needs someone to talk to.

"The Reykjavik Ice Sculpture Festival Is Lovely This Time of Year"[]

Davey calls Cassie and mentions his meal with Jenny. He tells her about the podcast, saying that he thinks it would be good for her and that she could set the record straight. Cassie, however, replies that Jenny needs to learn the definition of Alcoholics Anonymous, that it's anonymous. She further states that the whole Alex Sokolov thing was only a blip on the radar and that nobody really cares about it anymore.

"Blue Sincerely Reunion"[]

Cassie is in Iceland, hiding from a North Korean agent with her fugitive friend Megan Briscoe, when her phone rings with a call from Jenny. The sound of the ringtone spoils their hiding place. Later, as she and Megan are fleeing on a bus, Jenny calls again. Cassie states that she has to take the call, that it's part of the process of AA. When she answers, Jenny starts up about the podcast, and Cassie asks her if this is why she keeps calling. She tells her that she can't do a podcast, that it's a bad time and promises to text her later.

"Drowning Women"[]

Jenny runs into Cassie at a local liquor store in Los Angeles, not knowing that Cassie has fallen off the wagon. Cassie asks what she's doing there, claiming that it's beginning to seem like she's following her. Cassie tells her that she needs to stop, that she's not doing her podcast, but then notices that she's holding a whiskey bottle. She asks her why and Jenny tells her that it's her boyfriend, who is still hung up on his ex, a self-absorbed loser. Cassie tells her not to drink just because of a man. Jenny points out that she is there too, but Cassie claims to only be buying party supplies. She tells Jenny that sobriety is a journey, ushering her out of the store. Jenny takes her advice and leaves, not seeing her then purchase two large bottles of alcohol.

"Brothers & Sisters"[]

Davey mentions to Cassie having gone on a whale-watching trip with Jenny.

"No Exit"[]

Cassie is at a pier, where one of her colleagues from the CIA along with a couple of other individuals have been murdered, their bodies stashed on a boat named the Cream & Sugar. Suddenly, Jenny shows up at the pier and Cassie is surprised to see her there. She asks what she's doing there and Jenny tells her that she heard about the murder on the police scanner and came hoping to get the scoop for her podcast. She tells Cassie that she's always up for an adventure, but Cassie snaps, telling her that real people have died and that it's wrong for her to be smiley and happy, talking about adventure and clickbait. She wishes her a happy recovery, but says that she needs to get perspective. Jenny replies that she is taking it seriously, but Cassie tells her to get away. At this, Jenny points out that she isn't the boss of her. Cassie admits that she's right, but she continues that Cassie is lecturing her again. She tells her that she used to want to be like her, but that all she ever does is talk down to her. She asks what it is that Cassie is even doing there, but Cassie just points out that Jenny's phone is ringing, asking her if she wants to answer it, then walks away.

"Backwards and Forwards"[]

Cassie is worried about her brother, Davey, who has been sending her and his husband Rick some strange text messages. She dials his phone, only for it to be Jenny who answers. She asks her why she has Davey's phone and she tells her that he threw it, that he was manic, talking about his kids and that now he is in her backyard, pacing and yelling. She tells Cassie that she was about to call the police, but Cassie asks her to not do that, to just text her the address and she'll come pick up Davey. She agrees to be there soon. Cassie arrives at Jenny's place, a nice house in a well-appointed neighborhood. Jenny offers her tea, but she asks her to just take her to Davey. Along the way, she notices how nice the house is and Jenny tells her that it's her grandmother's and that she's trying to go through everything, but that it's hard. She says that her boyfriend thinks that she should get rid of it, but she's not sure.

They arrive in a bedroom upstairs, where Cassie is shocked to discover Davey passed out on a couch and looking terrible. As she tries to rouse him, her phone rings with a call from Annie. Jenny picks up the phone, holding a hammer to it. Cassie turns to see Jenny doing this. "Just a quick question..." she asks, but to Cassie's horror, Jenny puts down the phone and smashes it with the hammer. Cassie asks her what's going on, if this is because she didn't want to do her podcast. "There's no podcast!" shouts Jenny, telling her that both this and her alcoholism was a lie and that the house they're in is that of some sweet old lady who doesn't lock her doors. She steps aside to reveal a wall, on which are pictures of Feliks, surrounded by or forming hearts and with the phrase "Mr. & Mrs." Along with these are pictures of Cassie, with words such as "liar," "traitor" and "fake" and news articles about Alex Sokolov.

Cassie recalls Jenny repeatedly mentioning her boyfriend. "How?" she asks Jenny and a series of flashbacks reveal the truth. Jenny paid a visit to the prison that Feliks was sent to. He asked her who she was and she claimed to be doing a podcast about Alex Sokolov's death. When, however, he wouldn't give her the time of day, she admitted that this was a lie and told him that she had read about him online and had to meet him because of how handsome and obviously innocent he was. He, however, told her that she was mistaken, that he had committed the crimes he was convicted of, but did them all because he was in love. He asked her if he had ever heard the name "Cassie Bowden," telling her that he couldn't get Cassie out of his head. He told her that he wanted her to find her for him and watch her and study her. When she told him that all she wanted to do was help him, he suggested that Cassie was just in the way and that he might be able to love her if Cassie was dead.

Back in the present day, Cassie tells Jenny to listen to her, warning her that he's a master manipulator. She asks her if she knows that Feliks gets off on killing cats and hanging them from trees. To Cassie's horror, however, Jenny's response is "Those cats deserved it." She tells Cassie that she needs to stop blaming others for her problems and that she used to think the two of them were a lot alike until she realized just how awful Cassie is. She holds up the hammer, saying that she's going to put her out of her misery. Cassie asks if she's really going to kill her with a hammer, but she just replies that it's a perfectly good hammer, and lunges. Cassie, however, dodges, and escapes out the door of the room.

The two begin a game of cat and mouse, with Cassie searching desperately for a place to hide, while Jenny tells her that she's coming to find her. She says that Feliks thought she could learn to be like her, but she realized it would just be easier to get rid of her, that this is what Feliks really wanted her to do anyway. Cassie eventually finds a hiding spot and when Jenny opens the door, Cassie lunges at her, knocking her to the floor. They then both get up and face off against each other. Jenny tells Cassie that they should just get it over with. Cassie shouts at her to listen, that Feliks is a vicious killer and they deserve each other. She says that she can't lie, that Jenny is right about her, that she's a deeply flawed, narcissistic alcoholic. Her speech buys time for Davey, who has managed to regain consciousness and has been approaching Jenny from behind. As Cassie tells Jenny to "fuck off," Jenny raises the hammer to go in for the kill, but Davey smashes her in the back with a frying pan. Cassie then grabs a vase and shatters over her head, knocking her down and out to the floor. She comments to Davey that Feliks had really messed her up. He replies that she was already messed up, but that at least now she's going to be locked up somewhere.
